At FOX, I had to come up with mobile designs for the FOX.AI desktop application to visualize FOX's ad sense data. I worked with the Creative Director of the project who was redesigning the desktop application. I studied his redesigns and the current functioning desktop applications to come up with designs to propose to the Creative Director and the Director of Data Products and ML Strategy. I used Sketch, Invision, and Zeplin to create and share my work with the team.

Here are two infographics that I created in Adobe Illustrator to showcase how men currently dominate the tech industry. The first infographic compares the diversity of women in tech in Fortune 500 companies and startups. It also shows the diversity of women in tech with from companies that have around the same amount of employees as FOX. Furthermore, at the bottom, it lists the best practices that the ten companies used as well as the partnerships they made. The second infographic goes even further and shows the statistics of three companies and what they did to reach those numbers.
In creating these infographics, I made a Quip document and researched over twenty startup and Fortune 500 companies. I looked up the public information they had on their diversity of women in tech and non-tech roles. Then, I consolidated that information and made it into a bold, yet colorful one-pager that was inspired by FOX's style guide. I created the backgrounds and graphs in Adobe Illustrator. As an IT intern at FOX Networks Group, I was able to analyze data, create designs and wireframes, and propose new ideas. I joined the company when FOX was changing their workflows after the merger with Disney. One of my jobs was to redesign FOX's employee intranet. FOX was using Simpplr as a template to create their current intranet, so I watched videos on what Simpplr can provide and based my designs off of that. I went on each page of the current intranet and listed what I did and did not like. Also, I researched other companies' intranets and the best practices on making one. To create my wireframes, I used Adobe XD and proposed my designs to the Executive Director of the Technology division. Also, I created a mock-up of FOX's Help Desk page using Adobe Illustrator and proposed it to the Technology group, and it was approved to be in the final design of the intranet.
TutorHub is a solution for students to offer/receive tutoring services. College is expensive, so the app is made for students who want to receive extra income. It is also targeted towards students who need extra assistance in understanding the material in classes. It is an in-progress web app that will be mobile-friendly. It is being made using React.js. I am a designer and front-end programmer. I paper prototyped the profile page and page for looking up different tutors. I also am doing user experience research with current UC Santa Cruz students to improve the design.
The designs were made using paper and figma. This is a Unity web app that manipulates 3D objects like a cube, cylinder, and sphere. It allows the user to change the size, position, rotation, shape, color, and shader of the selected object. Also, the user can save and load the changes they made.
This was the final design chosen for Instafab, a web app that is similar to Instagram. The web app allows users to create an account and post pictures that include outfits or just items. They can tag where they bought it to solve the issue of always being asked where they got it from. Other users can rate posts and even favorite them, which adds to their feed.
The first photo is the overall layout of the user's main page, and the second is the layout of making a post. The designs were made using Adobe Illustrator. These are some mockups for ideas of changing the Facebook layout for mobile. I created the design, buttons and icons using Adobe Illustrator.
This is a news chat bot that spits out nonsense that is going on in the world. It was made using P5JS, and it utilizes a procedural content generation algorithm to create sentences that are considered news headlines. It was inspired by looking at Facebook and seeing news pages use wacky headlines as clickbait.
This an idea generator made with P5JS that is specifically geared towards couples who have no idea what to give their significant other but want to do something nice for them.
This is a web app made using P5JS that generates contents for a love letter. It uses a procedural generation algorithm based off of a sourced text to generate new and original sentences for the love letter to make it sound new and original.
